For the second year in succession the DAF CF85 has been awarded Fleet Truck of the Year.
“The CF85 meets all of an operator's needs for reliability, back-up, cost management and driver satisfaction. By far the best overall vehicle”, concluded the jury after a comparison of five different vehicles competing in the final selection process for the award.
During a glittering presentation in London’s Grosvenor House the trophy was handed to Ray Ashworth, managing director of DAF Trucks UK, by Mark Barton, sales director of BRS, sponsor of the award.
“This is a great accolade for the CF85 and for everybody in the UK sales team and across the dealer network,” said Ray Ashworth. “It is made all the more significant because fleet operators vote for this award and they are discerning buyers in the market."
The ‘Motor Transport Awards’ are the UK’s premier transport industry awards scheme, organised by trade magazine Motor Transport.
