Norscot Body & Paint is 3 years old and has gone from strength to strength with a wide variety of vehicles going through the workshop. We're not ones to shout about our successes however when we received this email we couldn't not share the feedback. Scott and his team are a credit to the whole Norscot family and this email just shows how much their efforts are appreciated by this customer. Well done to Scott, Gordon and Dale.
My husband's 1928 Ford Model A Tudor hotrod has been in your Perth body & paint shop recently while being prepared for a full respray. I feel compelled to write to give you some feedback with regards to my experience as a new Norscot customer.
Your bodyshop manager Scott Presley takes professionalism in his role to a level that I have never before experienced in any vehicle workshop environment. Hotrods are not to everyone's taste yet without bias he acknowledged my husband's affection for his old car and fully embraced it, helping both of us to feel that we were valued and worthwhile contributors in all discussions regarding the cars progression through the bodyshop. We were introduced to the staff Scott had selected to do our job and were impressed with the very high standard of sympathetic fabrication work from Dale Low who always ensured that the alterations he made & the bespoke pieces he produced were in keeping with the rest of the car, and likewise equally impressed with painter Gordon Winton who not only colour matched the original paint from Indianapolis perfectly but laid down both the colour and lacquer flawlessly.
Which brings me to the undeniable jewel in Norscot Perth's crown - your bodyshop manager Scott Presley. His dedication to his craft, his eye for detail along with his inbuilt passion for attaining perfection in his own workmanship are extremely impressive qualities but when they're combined with his sheet metal and panel work abilities he becomes quite frankly awe inspiring. Those qualities and skills set combined make him an incredible role model for his staff team to emulate. Having arrived unannounced with car parts on various occasions I observed him mentoring his team with respect & consideration, always giving them constructive feedback alongside clear concise directions. With never a raised voice, negative attitude nor the slightest hint of frustration or dismissive tone at any time he has an excellent leadership style and it is clearly evident from the atmosphere on the bodyshop floor that his staff team hold him in very high regard and have the utmost respect for him as their manager. Without exception upon any of my arrivals at the bodyshop his staff team were always industrious yet promptly acknowledging of and attentive to my presence, each man treating me with the same courtesy and professionalism that their manager consistently displayed.
Scott clearly is a manager who leads by example, he is without doubt an incredibly talented panel beater in his own right however he is also simultaneously an outstanding example of excellence in both customer service and line management while combining all of that with the probably almost endless list of tasks associated with running a busy commercial body shop.
My husband's Norscot job card will be completed and signed off today and the best possible version of the hotrod of his dreams will be rolling out of your Perth body shop courtesy of Scott and his fantastic team. We are beyond delighted with the outstanding workmanship that has been put into my husband's Model A & will have no hesitation in highly recommending Norscot Perth body and paint shop to any owner in the Scottish classic and custom car communities looking to have exceptional work done.
